FAQ

Personal Data

  • ❓ My name, surname, date of birth or permanent address is incorrect in the ISKAM system.

After enrolment at TBU, the above personal data are automatically updated from the STAG student information system. It is the student’s responsibility to check that the information is correct before moving into the accommodation.

If you need to change/correct any of the above information, please first contact the Student Affairs Office of your faculty. Once the information has been updated in STAG, the change will also be reflected in ISKAM the following day. If you have already reserved a bed or are already accommodated, you must also inform HRR of the change. Otherwise, incorrect information may appear in your Accommodation Agreement.

The only exception applies to new students enrolled in English-taught study programmes who have not yet completed enrolment at TBU, registered themselves in ISKAM and have not yet moved into the accommodation. In this case, HRR may, at the student’s request, amend the above information in ISKAM. Once the relevant faculty enters the data into STAG and the student signs in to ISKAM using their university credentials, the information is updated from STAG. It is essential that the personal data in STAG correspond to the data in ISKAM.

  • ❓ I have changed the number of my identity card/travel document. Do I also need to report this change to the halls of residence?

Identity card and travel document numbers are not automatically transferred from STAG to ISKAM.

If your permanent residence is outside the Czech Republic, you must also report this change to the accommodation officer or building manager of the relevant building so that the information can also be updated in the ISKAM accommodation system.

  • ❓ Can I enter a foreign bank account in ISKAM?

In ISKAM, it is possible to enter only a bank account held in the Czech Republic.
