Starting at the Hall of Residence

What to Bring With You

🛏️ Bed Linen – Not Necessary

A pillow with a duvet, pillowcase, duvet cover and sheet are available in all TBU halls of residence and all contractual external accommodation facilities of TBU.

🎒 What to Bring to the Halls of Residence – Recommended

🧴 Hygiene Items

    • shower gel, shampoo,
    • toothbrush and toothpaste,
    • toilet paper,
    • other personal hygiene items.

🧻 Towels

    • hand towel,
    • bath towel.

💊 First Aid Kit

    • medication you normally take,
    • painkillers and cold medication,
    • plasters and disinfectant,
    • medication for digestive problems.

🍽️ Kitchen Equipment

    • plates, mugs and cutlery,
    • pot, frying pan,
    • knife and chopping board,
    • food storage containers,
    • washing-up liquid and sponges.

⚠️ Some kitchenettes are equipped with induction hobs and it is essential to use only cookware suitable for induction cooking.

🥐 Food for the First Few Days

👕 Clothing

    • clothing and footwear for everyday wear, classes and leisure time,
    • sportswear, warmer clothing and, if necessary, formal clothing.

    • clothes hangers.

📄 Documents and Money

    • ID card or passport,
    • health insurance card,
    • confirmation of study, if required,
    • payment card or cash.

✏️ Study Supplies

    • writing supplies.

💻 Electronics

    • laptop and charger,

    • other permitted electronics.
