How do I log in to the ISKAM?
You log in to ISKAM using the same UTB username and password that you use to log in to STAG. You will receive your username and password after enrolling for studies and it may take about 2 or more working days for the study department to enter it into the database. Only then will you be able to log into ISKAM.
What should I do if I don’t remember my ISKAM password?
On the STAG homepage you can generate a new password or contact the IT department by email: it@kmz.utb.cz
How long does it take to check with ISKAM if the deposit has been credited?
Payment via the payment gateway is credited to ISKAM immediately. When paying by bank transfer, it usually takes 2-4 days (even longer from abroad) for the payment to be credited to ISKAM. Please do not send inquiries or confirmation of payment during the above time period to see if we have already received the deposit. Please check the list of unidentified payments in the news on our homepage first (it may be that you have not entered the correct VS and we have not been able to match your payment). If you still do not see the deposit in ISKAM 6 days after payment, please send an inquiry and payment confirmation by email:ekonom@utb.cz
(During holiday periods it may take up to 10 working days for the payment to be credited to ISKAM)
Will you refund my deposit if I cancel my reservation?
The deposit or part of it can be refunded if you request a refund within the refund deadlines stated in the accommodation policy.
What happens to the deposit if I don’t check in on a given date?
If you do not check in on the given date without an excuse, you will be automatically removed from the waiting list, you will lose your right to accommodation within the original waiting list and your deposit will be forfeited in full.
My accommodation request still says “undecided”.
If you have paid the deposit, your application is pending. Applications are processed in turn according to the criteria set out in the Accommodation Rules and with regard to bed capacity. An application may be processed during the academic year. If you do not wish to wait any longer, please request cancellation of your application and return of your deposit by email: koleje-u7@utb.cz
Can I apply after the start of the academic year?
Yes, it is possible to apply during the academic year. Applications are processed sequentially according to the number of beds available until all waiting lists are exhausted.
My application was denied. What about it?
There may be several reasons for rejection, e.g.: duplicate application, application in the wrong waiting list, application in the CZ + SK waiting list as an unknown person. Please ask by e-mailu: koleje-u7@utb.cz to cancel the wrong application and you will be allowed to submit a new application.
How do I know if I have paid my dorm fees?
After logging into the ISKAM accommodation system, click on the Account tab in the menu, where you will find an overview of your dormitory payments and your current account balance.
I have a different address in ISKAM than last year?
The address in the accommodation database is the same as the address you have given to the Student Services Department. If you have intentionally changed your address only in the residence halls and have not made the change in the Student Services Office, the change cannot be accepted when updating your information; the primary source of student information is the STAG database.
I have changed my phone number, email or travel document number (OP, passport) in the STAG student database. Do I have to report this to the accommodation provider so that she can change it in the accommodation database?
Yes you must, the above mentioned data is not updated from the STAG student database to the accommodation database, so it is necessary to report the change to the accommodation provider.
How is it possible that my account is still being charged when I don’t use the tracks anymore?
There are 2 possibilities: you have a direct debit order set up in your bank account to send the dormitory payment every month and the order has not been cancelled. The other option is to leave the dorms without checking out with the landlady and not terminating the accommodation according to the accommodation rules.
Where will you certify my settlement form?
You can have your completed liability settlement form validated at the office of any Accommodation Officer during their office hours.
Will you issue me an Accommodation Contract for the purpose of processing my visa?
HRR issues Contracts for the purpose of visa processing only on the basis of a request from the International or Study Department of UTB. This contract does not automatically mean a bed reservation. It is necessary to submit an application according to the Accommodation Rules.
