Ordering system
It serves to complement the existing system as a guarantee (assurance) that the diner will always receive the ordered food during the dispensing period.
Boarders ( TBU staff and students only) can order meals for the next day or for several days in advance using a touch-screen ordering terminal (Presentation Point – located in the atrium and exit of Canteen U4 and in front of Canteen U5) or web interface (The TBU menu). Orders can be changed or cancelled by the guest up to the set order closing date. Food orders are always placed for the specific outlet for which the menu is displayed. For operational reasons, it is always necessary to collect the ordered meals at the outlet for which the order was placed. There is also a so-called food exchange, which allows you to offer already-ordered food to other diners for purchase even after the order deadline.
Important notice: To place an order at the point of presence, it is always necessary to attach the identification card to the scanner again.
