Living in the Hall of Residence

📖 Instructions for Accommodated Students

After taking over your accommodation place and until its proper handover, you may use the assigned room and all services available in the relevant building.

These instructions apply to:

      • TBU halls of residence U6, U7 and U12,
      • MSI accommodation facility,
      • Max32 accommodation facility,
      • Hotel Garni.

📋 Your Responsibilities

💸 Pay Accommodation Fees on Time

The accommodation fee must be credited to the student’s account in the ISKAM system no later than the 10th day of the current calendar month.

📄 Pay Penalties and Charged Services

Any penalties and charged services must be paid in accordance with the valid price lists.

🧹 Keep the Accommodation Clean and Tidy

Please keep clean and tidy:

      • your room,
      • your accommodation unit,
      • common areas.

Use bed linen and use water, electricity and heating energy responsibly.

🧺 Wash and Dry Laundry Only in Designated Areas

Washing, drying and ironing laundry is permitted only in rooms designated for these purposes.

🚲 Store Bicycles and Scooters in Designated Areas

Bicycles and scooters must be stored only in designated areas. They must not be left in corridors, stairways or escape routes.

⚡ Use Only Permitted Electrical Appliances

Only permitted electrical appliances may be used in the accommodation place.

Appliances subject to a fee must be reported in advance to the accommodation officer or building manager.

♻️ Sort Waste

Please sort waste and place it in the appropriate labelled containers.

🛠️ Report Defects

Standard defects should be reported via the ISKAM system:

ISKAM → Accommodation → Defects Book → New Defect

🚨 Emergency defects must be reported immediately to the reception.

📖 Follow HRR Rules

Throughout the entire period of accommodation, you must comply with the Accommodation Rules, the Accommodation Agreement and all other valid HRR rules.

🚭 Observe the Smoking Ban

Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes and water pipes, is permitted only in designated smoking areas.

⚠️ Smoking is prohibited in all other areas of the halls of residence, external accommodation facilities and on balconies.

🔍 Regular Inspections of the Accommodation Place

Authorised HRR employees regularly inspect cleanliness, tidiness and compliance with the rules in accommodation places.

📅 Regular Inspection Dates

Every second Tuesday of the month

Inspections take place in the following buildings:

U7 hall of residence,
Max32,
Hotel Garni.

U6 hall of residence,
U12 hall of residence,
MSI accommodation facility.

🔎 Other Reasons for Inspection

An inspection of the accommodation place may also be carried out:

before the building is closed for the summer holiday period,
before a new student moves into a multi-bed room,
where there is reasonable suspicion of a breach of HRR rules.

ℹ️ An inspection may also take place in the absence of the accommodated student.

⚠️ Identified Deficiencies

If an inspection identifies a breach of the rules or insufficient cleanliness, the student will be asked to remedy the identified deficiencies within the specified deadline.

If the deficiencies are not remedied in time, the student may be charged a penalty in accordance with the valid Schedule of Compensation for Damage and Penalties.

💳 Payment of Penalties

Penalties must be paid no later than by the end of the current calendar month.

After this deadline:

the outstanding amount is automatically transferred to the student’s account in the ISKAM system,
in the following month, the debt is considered unpaid accommodation fees.

If the student has sufficient credit in their ISKAM account, the outstanding amount will be automatically deducted from the available balance.
